They were indeed great shoes, but sadly their time has passed, they have served me well. I received a random notification from Delia*s some years ago that I had an ancient gift certificate still available in my name, very honorable of them to mention it. So I got these boots basically for free and I've been wearing them almost exclusively since then, I was surprised how wonderful they turned out to be. So my partner slammed his drafting table into the wall and sliced open his hand, so there's some blood that got smeared on the door on our way to grab bandages and get to the ER, and a tube of Golden acrylic that got slammed into the wall when he threw his table.
